The Penn State Nittany Lions are in a pickel. They're back at Beaver Stadium for the first time since firing head coach James Franklin in October but have not named a finalist for the job, let alone his replacement. Now, the team has to recruit, host visitors and try to hang onto its committed prospects until the new coach has been named. On Today's BWI Live Recruiting Show, we'll discuss the latest news from the program's recruiting efforts, recruiting visits to other schools for commits, flips and more. We'll also discuss the latest practice update and give our Penn State vs. Indiana game predictions.

Penn State practice update

First, we'll give you an update about the team's progress this week and what we saw during Penn State's open practice on Wednesday evening. What was the defense working on? How about the offensive personnel? We'll discuss who was there and what the team was doing during the open period this week. 

Next, we'll get an update on the Penn State coaching search from reporter Sean Fitz. He updated his parameters around the coaching search this week to add in new context and details to the candidates who are vying for the job. We'll ask him what metrics he considered and why. 

Recruiting Update

Top commits are visiting other programs, and the sleepers in Penn State's recruiting class are committing to them. Now, the team has to figure out a way to bring them all back into town two more times before the end of the season. The next opportunity to try and slow the bleeding of recruits comes this weekend when the team hosts Indiana. What's the scene like for the recruiting staff? Reporter Ryan Snyder discusses all of that and more. 

Game preview and predictions 

Finally, we'll discuss the upcoming contest between Penn State and Indiana. What matchups will decide the outcome? Can the Nittany Lions figure out a way to be competitive in this contest? We'll discuss how we think the game will go. We'll also give you our score predictions to end the show.
